Deck & Fence Staining

Staining your Fence or Deck not only adds beauty to your home, it also adds protection from harmful UV rays. To keep them from weakening, cracking, or bowing, we always recommend getting your exterior wood stained. It’s best to wait at least 9 weeks from the installation date to ensure the stain will be absorbed properly.

It’s crucial to ensure the wood on your deck or fence is clean and free of algae and mold deteriorating your wood. There are several ways to wash your fence or deck, but we only use professional-grade wood cleaners and restoration methods that have kept us in business with happy clients for over 7years. Let us bring back the beauty that has always been in your backyard!

Why Call the Professionals

If you are in need of painting your deck or fence, look no further. With our expertise and attention to detail, we provide exquisite results that actually last! Unfortunately, there are painters out there who do not go through the necessary procedures when it comes to proper preparation and painting. What a lot of homeowners may not know is that when it comes to painting any wood surfaces near your home or attached directly, the preparation beforehand is truly the most difficult part. We make sure we cover all surfaces that are not to be painted on with thick plastic sheets. This includes grass, bushes, trees, the home itself, and any personal belongings nearby. Painting and staining are the easy parts. After so many years of proper preparation and painting, we’re confident in saying we truly are one of the best companies out there to do it!

Staining Vs Painting

To put it as simply as possible, the key difference between painting and staining is that paint normally just sits on the surface of the wood, while stain gets absorbed by it. A lot of times we only need to apply a single application for a stain while paints usually require a minimum of 2 coats to not show any streaks or brush patterns. And it also needs a primer first. With staining, you also have the option of being able to see the beauty of the wood beneath it, while paint usually covers it completely.

So, which one is better? It all depends on the customer’s preference. In my opinion, we like staining better. It usually lasts a little longer, is easier to re-apply if necessary, and is less liable to crack, chip, peel, or flake off. It’s also cheaper for the customer which we love. Both have their advantages, and both look amazing once done properly. It’s just a matter of what your needs and desires are.
